Privacy and Cookie Statement Maison Marone Paris

Applicability
This Privacy and Cookie Statement has been drawn up in accordance with the European Privacy Regulation as adopted on 25 May 2016 and entered into force on 25 May 2018. Where in this Privacy and Cookie Statement General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is mentioned, it can be interpreted as equivalent to the European GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation. The articles refer to the Dutch translation of the GDPR known as the “Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming” (AVG) as published on the website of the Dutch Government https://wetten.overheid.nl. This Statement is applicable for the trademarks Maison Marone and Maison Marone Paris.


Responsible controller
Maison Marone is a so-called controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that Maison Marone decides which personal data is processed, for what purpose and in what way. Maison Marone is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and in a proper and careful manner in accordance with the applicable privacy laws and regulations. Your data will not be passed on to third parties by Maison Marone without your prior written consent.


Personal data
Maison Marone processes personal data within the meaning of Article 4 of the GDPR. Personal data is all data that can provide information about an identified or identifiable natural person. Security of personal data
Article 32 of the GDPR obliges Maison Marone to take appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss of personal data or unlawful processing. Maison Marone uses a secure connection through the secure website to send your (personal) data. Retention period for personal data Maison Marone does not reasonably store your personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose of the processing (in accordance with Article 5 of the GDPR). Maison Marone stores your data for 1 year. During this year and/or at the end of the year you can indicate that these should be kept for longer, this can be done in writing and/or by extending your use of the service. Maison Marone uses the legal retention periods for cookies and data storage for the website. The use of cookies is displayed online when using the website. Maison Marone uses Social Media, in particular LinkedIn on parts of the websites, so that news or promotions can be liked or shared on LinkedIn. Your privacy rights
You have the right to access your personal data (in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR) and the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data (in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the GDPR). If you want to know which of your personal data Maison Marone processes, you can submit a written request for access. Maison Marone will handle your request within a reasonable time. Does your data appear to be incorrect, incomplete or no longer relevant? Then you can make an additional request to have your data changed or supplemented (in accordance with Article 16 GDPR). In a number of cases, you can request the deletion or erasure of your data (in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR). If you would like to receive the (digital) personal data that Maison Marone processes from you, you can invoke your right to receive this data (Article 20 GDPR). You can also request the restriction of the processing of your data or object to it (Articles 18 and 21 GDPR).


Right to rectification and erasure of personal data

Does your data appear to be incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant? Then you can make an additional request to have your data changed or supplemented (in accordance with Article 16 GDPR). This is the right to rectification. In a number of cases, you can ask Maison Marone to delete your data (in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR). This is the right to be forgotten. What are cookies?

Storage period for cookies

Functional cookies are stored for the duration of a session. Google Analytics stores the cookies for a minimum of 1 session and a maximum of 2 years. Social Media cookies are stored for a maximum of 2 years. Maison Marone reasonably uses the legal retention periods for the storage of cookies.

Blocking and Deleting Cookies
It is possible not to give permission for the placement of cookies or to block cookies. The browser settings can be set in order not to accept the standard cookies. These settings differ per browser.
